About PlayStation Vita
The PSP has always been a favorite among gamers who are constantly on the go and want quality game-play. Yes, it’s true our phones, tablets,
e-readers, and laptops are now portable gaming devices, but there is still something satisfying, as well as better-quality, with a PSP.
That’s why no one was surprised when Sony PlayStation began developing a second generation of the PlayStation Portable (PSP). It was codenamed the NGP until June 2011, where Sony unveiled the PS Vita at E3. Vita means Life in Latin, and Sony believes the PSV combines reality and gaming into one cohesive portable device.
There were always rumors about the specs flying around, and many were right.
One of the newest additions to the PS Vita is the gaming touch-pad on the back. By using the pad as well as the multi-touch screen, gamers will experience a new dimension to gaming.
Another great feature is the clarity. The screen is small enough (5-inches) but the clarity makes it resemble an HD PS3 gaming experience. Dual action cameras can augment your surroundings into certain games, like with backgrounds, your face, and much more.
The PS Vita is already available for Pre-Order for the holiday 2011 release date, and should sell out. It starts out at $249 but a more expensive version will be available as well.
